Clothes and Performance
Since the Stone Age, humans have used clothes, but eventually, the way that we look became an important thing.
Clothes have long been recognized as more than just a means of covering our bodies; they are an expression of our personal style, culture, and identity. However, the impact of clothing goes far beyond aesthetics, extending into the realm of performance. I consider that I don’t have a static style. I like to dress like I want or how I feel in that moment, and I don’t have stigma about colors, styles, or even if it was made for her or him. I firmly believe that, provided you feel you should express yourself and don’t let others judge you about the way you dress, we delve into the fascinating world of clothes and performance, uncovering the ways in which our apparel can empower, elevate, and enable us to achieve our goals with style and substance. In this blog entry, I’ll explain a summary about clothes; then, talk about how clothes and fashion are a form of art; and finally, I’ll say how if we were more conscious of clothes, we might stop pollution.
The history of clothing dates back thousands of years and has undergone significant transformations influenced by various factors such as climate, culture, and social status. Since the Stone Age, humans have used clothes, but eventually, the way that we look became an important thing. For me, it is essential as well, but I think it is awful to judge people by their appearance tough. If you wear one of the greatest brands of clothes that represent status, social economic positions, and prosperity, like in the old days, and every individual has the chance to buy one of those clothes, that's good, but also, those people expend a great amount of money on that, even if they don’t have the possibility to do so.
Clothing as a form of art Sounds weird, no? But it's true that you should be talented if you want to be a clothing designer, and you must be creative if you want to create a new fashion trend, because that's how fashion works. Innovation, colors, movements, cultures, and beliefs everything that I mentioned could be represented by clothes. Style is something that everyone wants.
You know that one of the core causes of pollution is fashion? Thanks to expensive brands, fast fashion, etc. Massive production of clothes creates a juggernaut of contamination that is destroying the world, is a serious situation because we don’t notice it and we are still buying more and more clothes. But what could we do? Well, it is complex, but my recommendation is to give a second chance to our clothes, give to charity, buy in thrift shops, avoid fast fashion, and consume great quality clothes. I'm used to buying in thrift shops, and I know that I’ll find good things for less than if I were in a mall.
